May perform one or more of the following:
- Single point of contact for all telecommunication requirements related to inventory and management of expense
- Manage telecommunications inventory. Inventory is considered voice/data circuits, which could be POTS, PRI, DSL, T-1, Ethernet, OC3, etc.
- Coordinate provisioning of telco inventory (voice lines, data circuits, audio conferencing, calling cards, Web conferencing, video conferencing, and wireless)
- Submit requests to internal organizations and carriers in support of customer’s requirements and oversee timely completion of deliverables
- Coordinate implementation efforts for new services or changes to the environment for the Client
- Coordinate loading of terms, conditions, and rates for contractual agreements into the Telecommunications Expense Application, called Tangoe (CMP)
- Coordinate cost center changes with client and carriers
- Lead escalations with carriers, supplier, and internal organizations
- Provide status to internal organizations and customers on requests, projects, or escalations
- Review telco spend with clients; identify potential savings opportunities, and complete savings analysis with involvement from Global Procurement Organization
- Participate in regular meetings with technical teams, clients, and carriers
- Collect requirements from customer and internal organizations and coordinate creation of assurance testing
- Work with Global Procurement Organization to review new service offerings and rates
- Facilitate procurement of mobile devices and fulfillment of mobile plans
- Coordinate number porting with carriers
- Assist with validation or identification of new or unknown inventory
- Coordinate Transfer of Service Agreement (TSA/ToSA) process and executions of Letter of Authorization (LOA) and Transfer of Service Agreement
- Assist customer with technical questions and application support for web portals used to provide TEM services
- Coordinate loading of charges and allocations into customer’s accounting systems
- Provide trending reports to customer for usage and cost
- Participate in quarterly operational meetings with customers
- Lead quarterly optimization reviews with customer
- Coordinate creation of reports, as needed
- Assist with special projects, such as savings initiatives, MPLS migrations, VoIP implementations, audits, and tax analysis
- Coordinate with internal Accounting or customer payment of past-due balances and research on payments, allocations, or billing
- Review supplier’s invoices, approve, and submit for processing and payment
- Knowledge and understanding of telco services (local, long distance, data, audio conferencing, calling cards)
- Ability to report trouble of telco services; perform follow-up with carriers for resolution; provide timely status updates to client
- Must have Telecommunications Billing Experience
- Must be a self-starter
- Must be proficient in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Must have excellent soft skills for developing relationships with client, team members, and carriers
