Telecom Manager
Responsibilities: The Telecomm and Unified Communications Lead in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania provides hands-on installation, operation and maintenance of the firm's enterprise telecommunication and unified communications platforms such as IP-PBX, call management, voicemail systems, cost recovery, soft clients, converged technologies and public telephone network connectivity. You will lead the design of the telecommunications system and provide management for technology, vendors, providers, operational improvements, efficiencies and strategic direction of the telecommunications and unified communications systems. Principal Responsibilities: Develops technical and operating standards, installation standards, corrective and preventative maintenance, equipment, and performance standards for the firm's telecommunications and unified communications platforms Works to evaluate, select, and manage vendors and resellers to optimize price and performance for all telecommunication procurement Monitors and manages vendor relationships including vendor performance, relationships, monthly invoice reviews and overall costs Prepares budget and correspondence relating to telecommunications systems Maintains a vision of future IP telephony technology trends and proactively identifies and recommends improvements to reduce costs and risk within the firm's telecomm and unified communications platform and associated vendor services Installs, implements, monitors and performs maintenance/upgrades/repairs of the firm's enterprise telecommunication and unified communications platforms such as IP-PBX, voicemail, call management, cost recovery, soft clients, and converged technologies to ensure smooth business operations Monitors and manages public telephone and network connectivity and capacity to ensure performance and uptime of the firm's telecommunications systems Work with vendors to resolve hardware, software and network related issues Kforce (Nasdaq:KFRC) is a professional staffing and solutions firm providing flexible and permanent staffing solutions in the skill areas of technology, finance accounting, clinical research and healthcare.
