Telecoms Technician / Instructor - Telecommunications / IT Data Networks
Based at RAF Leeming

Purpose
To carry out the training development and support for Comms Systems, Data networks including IP addressing / Subnet Masking etc for the Project Falcon.
This role is suitable for a technician rather than an operator. You must be able to open, diagnose and fix radios and routers, good technical experience of comms trunking etc.

Objectives
To support training personnel and operators with Telecommunications, Data Networking issues including IP addressing, Subnet Masking etc
Assist with the development of technical training documents in accordance with the Defence Systems Approach to Training.
Deliver training as required to the standards required by the Defence Systems Approach to Training.
Liaise with customer (BAE Systems, MOD TFCS IPT, Army/RAF staff) and BAE suppliers as required

Skills/ Qualifications
Previous experience as a British Army/RAF SNCO Technician/Systems Engineer.
Experience at operating/instructing on British Army/RAF communications systems.
Experience of IP networks.
Training experience.
SC MOD Security Clearance.
