Telecommunications Analyst recruitment
In this position you will:
Lead and/or participate in the maintenance and support of the voice telecommunications environment.
Design and implement telecommunication options that support Bank business areas.
Design and implement ACD/CRM solutions for customer service and support areas of the Bank.
Monitor and analyze system performance and make recommendations for improvements.
Support customer-driven move, add, and change environment ranging from simple programming changes to complex departmental remodels.
Perform all wiring function related to connecting devices to the telephone environment including cross connects.
Develop and maintain information/technical databases.
Perform standard maintenance practices ensuring the health of all systems and integrity of the data contained within.
Trouble shoot a wide range of equipment related to the PBX, voicemail, ACD, CTI, conference bridge, voice recording and telemanagement systems.
Provide training and support to other telecommunications network staff.
Provide for after hours, on call support 24x7x365, on a rotating basis.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree with coursework in telecommunications, business administration, computer technology or management information systems or equivalent job-related work experience in a position with similar responsibilities.
Minimum 4 years experience, functional and operational, related to the following telecommunication components: PBX, voicemail, ACD, CTI, conference bridges, telemanagement systems, call logging systems, cabling technologies, servers, switches, routers, and network carriers.
Experience with Interactive Response/Voice Portal is highly desired.
Experience with one or more of the following is preferred: Avaya Products: IP Telephony, S8700/S8500, Enterprise Survivable Server (ESS), G650 and G450 Media Gateways, Interaction Center, Communications Manager, Modular Messaging, CMS, CTI, Witness Call Recording and Quality Monitoring, WAN connectivity, wireless technologies.
Avaya Certified Associate (ACA) and/or Avaya Certified Specialist (ACS) and/or Avaya Certified Engineer (ACE) is preferred.
Strong oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to professionally and effectively communicate/interact with individuals at all levels of a matrix organization.
Strong analytical skills and attention to detail, but with the ability to identify and summarize key points at a high level.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously, be innovative, and work well with ambiguity.
