Telecoms Research Analyst recruitment
Enders Analysis is a small but influential and independent telecoms and media analysis and research firm, based in central London. The firm offers its subscribers research publications covering the major commercial, regulatory and strategic issues in mobile and fixed line telecoms, TV and the Internet, and the major content businesses such as advertising, publishing and music.
The firm is seeking to recruit a research analyst for the telecoms practice to provide company and market analysis for both fixed and mobile telecoms, with particular emphasis on the UK broadband and mobile markets. Relevant companies would include BT, Vodafone, Virgin Media, O2 and TalkTalk Group.
The role:
• Collating and analysing qualitative and quantitative data, mostly from company websites, financial reports, company presentations, Ofcom publications and primary market research
• Conducting fundamental analysis at company and industry level
• Contributing to reports and presentations
• Attending client meetings and other relevant presentations
• Helping to maintain databases

Qualifications:
• Degree from a well-regarded university in a numerate subject. Candidates with degrees in other subjects will be considered if they can provide evidence of strong numeracy
• Good knowledge of Excel and PowerPoint
• 1-2 years relevant experience, while not essential, would be helpful, and could include analytical work for a consultancy, accounting firm, service provider or equipment manufacturer
• Genuine interest in and enthusiasm for the telecoms industry
• Ability to work accurately, both independently and in a team environment
