Telecoms Sales Account Manager Job in Reading rg11he, Home Counties UK

The purpose of this role is to sell our product portfolio of national Dark Fibre, Optical Wavelengths, Ethernet and SDH to clients within a varied range of industry sectors, including Corporate, Carrier, or Public Sector.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role include:
Achieving sales targets, delivering profitable business
Managing and developing existing billing accounts
Creating, maintaining and managing a pipeline of qualified opportunities in line with sales targets
Identifying, pursuing and exploiting profitable new business opportunities

You shall Have experience in selling the products within the SSE portfolio
Knowledge of the UK telecoms industry
Possess strong commercial awareness and experience of sales forecasting, targeting and reporting
Demonstrate an understanding of data centre, co-location and managed services.
Have the ability to lead and develop multi-functional and diverse virtual teams
Be articulate, confident and tenacious with the ability to self-manage and act on own initiative
Have excellent verbal and presentation skills
Have a high standard of computer, writing and numeric skills, Be organised and professional with the ability to work accurately to demanding timeframes
Demonstrate a flexible approach to work and be able to undertake regular travel in the UK
Have a full driving licence
