Telemarketing Collections Consultant
A leading provider of debt collection services based in Southampton with a client base made up of the main clearing banks, invoice finance companies and accountancy practices.
Our client, is currently looking for an experienced Telemarketing Consultant to join their friendly and established team.
This position involves generating meetings for the Managing Director and Collections team involving cold calling prospective clients to establish their outsourcing requirements for credit control and debt collection.
Lead generation, using CRM tool (Saleslogix) to pro-actively market for new prospects and suspects, identify and develop new opportunities and pass qualified leads to the Managing Director.
The role will also involve following up on marketing campaigns as well as dealing with and qualifying inbound website leads.
While the primary target will be to generate meetings and clients for the company, there will also be a secondary incentive to qualify businesses that have a funding requirement and introduce these to the brokerage.
Experience required:
Ideally the candidate will have 2 years experience within a successful telemarketing department. Previous roles could include cold and warm Business to Business appointment generation exposure.
Whilst not essential, experience within the business finance sector would be preferred.

Computer proficiency – Word, Excel, Outlook and Saleslogix or similar CRM System
Proven team player with excellent interpersonal skills
Able to work on their own initiative and as part of a team
