Purpose of the role:
Reporting to the Allied Worldwide Service Delivery Manager, we are now seeking a Telephone Engineer to be responsible for the efficient day to day working of the AVAYA based phone system in place at our client’s site; the role is based in Central London. This is an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Telephony Engineer to join a company that can further develop your skills within technology.
Key Responsibilities:
· Agent Call Distribution
· Hunt Group configuration
· Troubleshoot alarms on ACM switch and trunk groups (ISDN and SIP)
· Call Routing (inbound and outbound)
· Initial Configuration
· Administration tasks
· Create agent logins IDs, station IDs
· Create announcements and configure
· Programming Agents’ Login IDs/ IP Stations/ Vectors/ VDNs/ Announcements
· Recording from file and voice
Key Skills:
· Experience of using a Call Logging system, ideally Remedy
· Experience of fault fixing of standard telephones
· Knowledge of fax systems
· Experience in installation / move / de-install of telephony equipment
· Knowledge of Nortel Systems is desirable
