SUMMARY High level objectives.
Telephone Upgrade/Replacement Project Manager
This position interacts with various teams inside AA and vendors and is responsible for leading the effort to displace four existing systems with a cloud based solution. Requires continuous interaction with IT leads and executives to ensure processes are sustainable, repeatable, and predictable.
RESPONSIBILITIES Tasks, functions, deliverables, etc.
Design, develop, document, and implement standard, integrated call transport processes
Integrate VoIP/SIP methodologies into strategy development
Migrate in/out bound call routing to VoIP/SIP solutions
Leverage IP transport and migrate away from the traditional services
Collapse the 4 existing Nortel systems currently in place
Collaborate with infrastructure technology and management to define and document strategies and standard processes
Disconnect costly legacy voice services
Develop and maintain usable standard repository
Develop and administer quality reviews of processes / tools to support standard offer
Align with and support cross Business Unit process initiatives
QUALIFICATIONS
Bachelors degree plus six years experience directly related to role responsibilities or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience.
Directly related education, training and experience includes:
Work experience must include technical consulting, solution design, project management, planning, deployment and resource management in a VoIP/SIP platform
Previous project management implementation experience with Voice and Data platforms to include; (TDM PBX IP- PBX, Nortel, Avaya, Aspect), Voice and Data networks (PSTN, Wireless, IP, SIP), Contact Centers Technologies (ACD/IVR, 800 Services, Genesys, 24x7 global call distribution) and software application integration
Experience implementing cloud based telephony solutions
Experience sun-setting legacy products
Vendor and contractor management
Handling multiple inputs in a high pressure, dynamic environment
Complex data analysis
Proven ability to perform and thrive in a collaborative consensus-oriented environment
Analysis and problem solving demonstrated ability to recognize issues and develop effective solutions
