Telesales Co-ordinator

My client, a specialist finance company based in Burton on Trent is recruiting for two Telesales Co-ordinators to join their team ASAP.

Job Specification:-

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing new sales leads and meeting new business targets set by the Telesales Manager. They will work in partnership with the Area Sales Managers to develop relationships with new and existing customers.

They must be dynamic, self-motivated and target driven. They will be responsible for generating new business and will be accountable for achieving individual sales and telephone call targets which have been agreed with the Telesales Manager.

The jobholder will be expected to work with little day-to-day supervision from the Telesales Manager and productivity will be monitored by the measurement of success against targets set on a weekly basis.

The Telesales Co-ordinator will work within an agreed geographical boundary and sales will be generated through; cold calling, following up leads generated by marketing, initiating local marketing activity and actively sourcing new business opportunities using information resources available. They will be responsible for building a prospect database and maintaining this database.

The individual will report directly into the Telesales Manager and will develop a strong working relationship with the Operations Manager and administration team.

Person Specification:-

· Previous knowledge and experience of the Finance industry is required.
· Previous experience of working in a telesales environment, with a proven ability to meet sales targets.
· A bright, go getting person that is tenacious and resilient with a strong desire to succeed.
· Ability to work under pressure, maintaining a positive mental attitude.
· Strong interpersonal skills
· Target driven
· Numerate with analytical ability
· Must be competitive and have a need to win with an ability to think on their feet and deliver solutions.
· Team player.
· Strong ability to plan and organise.
· Practical problem solving ability
· An excellent communicator with a direct and open style.
· Enthusiasm and drive for generating revenue with evidence of “going the extra mile” coupled with strong client focus, a flexible and resilient attitude.
· Demonstrates an understanding of the business.
· Highly IT literate.
