Telesales Executive Job in Derby Ng12dr, Midlands Uk
Exciting opportunity for an experienced telesales person to join this rapidly growing and expanding National Freight Company.
This role for the next two months will be based in Swadlincote but relocating to the Pride Park area in January 2012.
Reporting into the European Sales Manager the main duties of the role include:
* Up to 40 new business calls a day to generate leads
* Gaining new contact names and emails for company mailings
* Generating mail shots to be sent out about the services of the business
* Pricing and quoting for work
* Follow up of news letters and arranging potential visits for corporate clients when needed.
* General administration duties
The ideal candidate:
* Must have an excellent geographical knowledge of the UK and Europe
* Have an understanding of the Freight forwarding industry
* An understanding of import and export on road, sea and air.
* A second language in either French, German or Spanish would be of great benefit
* Be a self motivator as at times the European Sales manager will be travelling around the UK
In return the client offers a competitive salary and potential bonus earnings of up to £10k annually paid quarterly based on call levels, revenue, and database increase.
Operating in the hours of 9-5pm Monday to Friday this role can offer a progression opportunity to evolve into a field based role visiting potential clients and generating larger business.
Closing date for this position will be 16th November as interviews are to be held w/c 21st November. With a view to the ideal candidates starting before Christmas.
