Telesales Manager (Finance)

My client, a specialist finance company based in Burton on Trent is recruiting for a Telesales Manager to join their team ASAP.

Your main priority is to ensure your team generate new business and build on existing business. You will work with the team to ensure they achieve set sales and telephone call targets successfully.

You will also be responsible for providing solid support to the Managing Director and the Sales Director and manage the ongoing training and development of the team, motivating and coaching them to ensure they have the required skills to be successful in their role.

You will also ensure that new sales leads are developed and new business targets set by the Managing Director and Sales Director are met.

Key activities will include use of the CRM system to review and monitor the telesales team performance and identify areas to improve.

Managing any underperformance or improvement requirements in a timely manner.

Communicating with the team regularly; hold regular meetings to discuss performance, initiatives, best practices, incentives.
Regularly appraise the Telesales Coordinators set and agree objectives at half yearly and yearly appraisals but also ongoing basis to monitor performance and productivity of all team members

Identify training and development needs required by the team facilitate the coaching in the skills knowledge systems and procedures required for them to be competent in their role

Regular meetings with the Managing Director and the Sales Director to discuss progress of the team in all the above areas.

You will be highly motivated and driven to exceed targets set through cold calling prospects, and warm calling - following up on mail shots and marketing material sent.
