The Ideal Candidate
Reporting to the VP of Sales, the Telesales Representative is responsible for developing new business opportunities and selling to new accounts via telephone and email – some travel may also be required. Responsible for meeting quarterly and yearly goals, the Telesales Representative will be assigned a list of targeted leads, but is mainly expected to acquire new leads by researching companies on the Web, cold calling and other innovative sources.
To succeed in this important position, the candidate must be a natural relationship builder, excellent communicator, and have experience dealing with small and large corporate accounts. The candidate must also be organized, creative, independent, computer literate, and possess a strong telesales ability and personal initiative.
Requirements / Duties

Three to five years telesales experience
- College or University Degree in Business or a related field
- Possess a minimum of 2 years experience in software sales, or related field
- Proven ability to meet sales goals
- Strong spoken and written English
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Contact Management software
- Place phone calls to existing clients to follow-up on services and to promote new products
- Place phone calls to inactive clients to qualify their needs and to offer new solutions
- Cold call potential clients as a main task, to qualify and set up appointments and on-line demonstrations
