Job Title: Telemarketing / Merchandiser Summary: Solicits orders for products over the telephone and supports the sales staff by performing the following duties. Telemarketing : Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Solicit business from an established sales territory and perform cold calls to prospective customers over the telephone. Customers assigned serviced with forethought and pre-planning, minimizing the need for ?emergency? services. Responsible for meeting or exceed sales quota for the territory assigned Secures and places orders and arranges delivery date. Follows up with customers to assure satisfaction, respond to queries, solicit further sales, and solve or refer problems. Prepares report on sales activities Merchandising: Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned. Provide support to grocery and club stores throughout Washington, DC. Duties include providing excellent customer service, stocking shelves with wine, building displays, ensuring appropriate point-of-sale materials are visible, unloading trucks, and moving product to the proper locations within the store. Applicants must have strong customer service abilities and excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Physical requirements include the ability to lift up to 40 lbs repetitively, frequently above the shoulders, and up to 60 lbs occasionally. Must be at least 21 years of age, possess a valid driver?s license with a clear MVR, have reliable transportation, and be able to provide proof of car insurance.
