The Teller position is critical to the success of NEFCU. The Teller personifies the image of the Credit Union in that he/she handles the majority of member transactions and may be the only person with whom the member ever comes in direct contact. It is vital that the Teller maintains a positive attitude and demonstrates a sense of professionalism. The Teller has the opportunity to "sell" NEFCU and our products and should make every effort to do so. Working as a team player the Teller will assist his/her co-workers throughout the Credit Union in achieving total quality and contribute to a friendly and cooperative working environment.

Job scope includes ability to process transactions efficiently and accurately while consistently applying Teller Mystery Shop and exceptional member service standards. Learning ground to identify product and service referral opportunities and make appropriate recommendations to members.

This individual should continually look to improve products and services as well as be willing to serve on cross-functional teams to meet our goals.
