This position is responsible for providing quality service as a front line employee. This includes receiving checks and cash for deposit or loan payment to accounts, verifing amounts, examining checks for proper endorsement, and entering transactions into the computer. Pays out money after verification of signatures and customer balances for check cashing, withdrawal, and split deposit transactions. Position also requires cross-selling and promotion of bank products. This position requires excellent communication skills with customers, co-workers, management, and other bank locations by maintaining a professional, positive, and courteous demeanor. Must demonstrate knowledge of the industry in terms of laws and regulations including the Bank Secrecy Act relative to his/her job responsibilities.
1. Assists customers quickly and efficiently and maintains positive customer relationship. Meets all expectations on professionalism and our image.
2. Balances cash drawer at the end of each shift and alerts the bank supervisor to any outages they may have and follows all policies and procedures keeping bank security in mind.
3. Refers and sells bank products by recognizing and recommending ways to better serve customers and non-customers financial needs both in person and on the telephone.
4. Runs transactions accurately and with minimal outages.
5. Performs other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Bank Manager to assist in smooth and efficient bank operation.
6. Demonstrates knowledge of the industry in term of laws and regulations, including the Bank Secrecy Act, relative to the job responsibilities.

High School diploma or equivalent required. A minimum of 6 months previous cash handling and customer service experience required. Must enjoy working in a sales environment.
