Temp to Permanent Accounts Assistant
My client is looking to recruit a ACCA / CIMA / AAT studier for a temporary to permanent position based in Iver. This is a great opportunity to progress your Finance career within an established organisation. The company will also offer study support to the successful applicant. Candidates must be immediately available / available at short notice.
Key Responsibilities:
Report to and work closely with the Finance Manager in support of the Group finance function.
Liaise with members of staff both inside and outside of the Finance Department to assist with the Group’s cash, sales and balance sheet reporting.
Production of weekly and monthly cash reports and schedules.
Assisting with month end processes and balance sheet preparation.
Other duties will involve the production of journals, bank reconciliations, GL reconciliations.
The position will also deal with foreign currency orders and the opening of customer accounts.
Production of timely, accurate and relevant ad hoc analysis.
Competencies Qualifications:
Previous experience in a finance environment (at least 1 - 2 years)
Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Excel, Outlook and Word).
Knowledge of Exchequer financial software preferred but not essential.
Confident in dealing with telephone queries.
Ability to demonstrate a good standard of numeracy and literacy.
Ability to work to tight deadlines and prioritise workload.
Highly self motivated, proactive, personable team player.
