Temporary Assistant Accountant / Finance Assistant

Our client, a leading organisation located Nr. Bury St Edmunds is seeking a Temporary Assistant Accountant / Finance Assistant to join their finance department.  Working in the revenue and billings team you will be responsible for providing support with a range of tasks including, monthly invoicing to suppliers; maintenance and production of monthly accrual schedules for billing; production of weekly statistics and monthly KPI's; ensuring all cost of sales invoices are coded and authorised within payment terms; maintenance and production of supplier commission deals; maintenance of the pricing and quoting models; responding to and resolving billing queries; updating pricing tariffs in all billing systems; providing support to the Budget Accountant; assisting in month end processes; and providing external bodies with accurate and timely reporting.

The successful candidate will have demonstrable experiencing working in a high volume accounting environment, combined with excellent attention to detail.  Strong IT skills (v-look-ups) are essential with the ability to work with and manipulate large volumes of data.  An excellent opportunity for an individual seeking a busy accounting role with a leading employer.   This role is to start in January 2014 for a period of 4 months.  Applications welcome from candidates immediately available or on 1 weeks notice.
