Temporary Bookkeeper

Temporary Bookkeeper: 6 to 8 weeks

A fantastic opportunity has become available for an experienced bookkeeper in the Poole area. The role will report into the Finance Manager and is a temporary opportunity for 6 to 8 weeks.

The primary responsibilities of the role will include;
Maintenance reconciliation of the ledgers,
Accurate recording of all income expenditure,
Completing the monthly trial balance, entering accruals prepayments when appropriate,
Reconciling preparation of the VAT return,
Assisting the Finance Manager with the year end, ensuring all ledgers are accurate, complete reconciled, accurate posting of income expenditure to projects.

To be successful in the role the successful candidate will have;
A Bookkeeping qualification (e.g. AAT) or proven experience of at least 5 years,
Excellent Excel experience – to at least intermediate level,
Experience with Sage 50 and will be able to work independently and provide financial support to the team.
