We are currently seeking a Temporary Practice Technology Analyst to work in our Practice Technology Department. This position will require attention to detail, great organizational and analytical skills. Overview of Responsibilities:
The following is an overview of the responsibilities for this position.
- Consults with Practice Technology Manager-Technical Services, Project Managers, Senior Practice Technology Analysts, Practice Technology Specialists, and case team personnel on practice technology technical support issues.
- Analyzes documents and data to identify compatibility with litigation systems.
- Recommends vendor intervention as necessary.
- Manages, processes, and loads data and images to Practice Technology systems. Logs, documents, diagnoses and reports on failed processes.
- Sets up, maintains, supports, monitors and documents Practice Technology systems.
- Coordinates integration of litigation systems into the Crowell Moring computing environment with Network Operations department, including hardware, backup, and operating systems.
- Implements databases and image bases in accordance with procedures established by the Practice Technology Manager -Technical Services.
- Assists Project Managers, Senior Practice Technology Analysts, Practice Technology Specialists, case team personnel, co-counsel and clients with technical problems relating to litigation systems.
- Logs, documents and maintains files on all requests from Project Managers, case teams Senior Practice Technology Analysts, and Practice Technology Specialists.
- Logs, documents, and maintains files on all communications with litigation support vendors.
- Exports images and data for production.
- Documents procedures developed and cross references with other team members. Participates in After-Hours on call rotation.
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Demonstrated high level of technical knowledge in litigation support.
- Ringtail Legal Administrator Certification highly desirable.
- Expertise in Concordance, IPRO, LiveNote, and Sanction.
- Administrative working knowledge of Summation desirable.
- Able to assess and respond quickly to unexpected, complex assignments.
- Strong interpersonal skills, as position interfaces with clients and attorneys.
- Able to provide technical support for client focusing on their goals, needs, and interests.
- Demonstrated initiative, and ability to work independently or as member of a project team.
- Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities. Strong detail-orientation.
Required Experience:
- Bachelors degree preferred.
- At least 5 years of highly technical and progressively responsible practice technology, litigation support, or related experience.
