This Territory Business Manager position offers a candidate an exciting opportunity to make an impact on patient's lives!
The main job responsibilities of the TBM will be to call on healthcare professionals (Endocrinologists Primary Care Physicians), diabetes educators and pharmacies to educate them on the value of LifeScan products and achieve commitment for recommendation of LifeScan products to their patients. Conduct special events (i.e., Diabetes Days, health fairs, etc.) to enhance the education of customers. The incumbent will be directly responsible for the promotion of LifeScan products and services within an assigned territory, while indirectly also being responsible for promotion of Animas products. Execute POA Direction to meet and exceed company forecast, Create, update drive Territory Business Plans, including competitive opportunities, new business development, while leveraging analytics, forecasting, etc. Achieve assigned sales goals as established by District Business Manager and/or senior staff. Utilize sales analytic tools to develop strategies for growth that are customized to the assigned territory and assess changes within the territory. Develop call plans for maximum reach and impact. Record all calls in sales reporting tool (i.e., MyWire, ACcessIT, etc.). Return customer calls and manages inventory of product. Collaborate with internal partners to leverage synergies and create targeted selling opportunities. Collaborate with TBM - Insulin Delivery and Clinical Managers in selling and educational events across territory.
Qualified candidates will need to understand and speak to the detailed features of company and competitor products. Understand SMBG and Insulin Pump Industry and looks for opportunities to learn about new issues and trends in the industry. Apply knowledge of disease state and products to help customers through purchasing process. Attend and participates in all sales meetings and those conventions and symposia to which he/she is assigned. Complete all expense reports in a timely manner and keep corporate AMEX account current. Complete all reports or other assignments as required or directed by District Business Manager in a timely basis. Maintain accurate records in time and attendance system. Stay current on any other administrative duties as assigned by District Business Manager. Comply with all company policies and procedures.

Qualifications
A minimum of a Bachelors degree is required. A minimum of 2 years field based sales experience is required. 2 years of previous healthcare sales experience is preferred. A successful and consistent track record of delivering results in the pharmaceutical or medical device industry is preferred. Strong negotiation and influencing skills are required. Strong interpersonal and communications skills required.
A qualified candidate will be efficient, organized, self-motivated, positive and pro-active. Demonstrated ability to interact with patients of diverse backgrounds and to resolve conflict is required. Excellent written verbal communication skills are required. Previous Diabetes Care field sales experience is strongly preferred. Candidates must possess a valid driver's license issued in one of the 50 United States and a clean driving record. The ability to travel related to this role is required.
