Our client is one of the leading producers in power transmissions segment. In order to support their on-going development in Russia we are looking on their behalf for a Territory Sales Manager.
Functionally you will report to the Torque Transmission European Sales Management.
- For personnel and administration purposes you will co-ordinate with, and take instruction locally from the Managing Director Russia.
- You will be expected to carry out the following primary tasks:
- 1. Plan and prioritise personal sales activities and customer/prospect contact towards achieving agreed business aims, including costs and sales - especially managing personal time and productivity.
- 2. Plan and manage personal business territory according to an agreed market development strategy.
- 3. Manage pricing and margins according to agreed aims.
- 4. Maintain and develop existing and new customers through appropriate propositions and ethical sales methods, and relevant internal liaison, to optimise quality of service, business growth, and customer and satisfaction.
- 5. Plan/carry out/support local marketing activities to agreed budgets and timescales, and integrate personal sales efforts with other organized marketing activities, e.g., product launches, promotions, advertising, exhibitions and telemarketing.
- 6. Respond to and follow up sales enquiries using appropriate methods.
- 7. Monitor and report on market and competitor activities and provide relevant reports and information.
- 8. Record, analyse, report and administer according to systems and requirements.
- 9. Communicate, liaise, and negotiate internally and externally using appropriate methods to facilitate the development of profitable business and sustainable relationships.
- 10. Attend and present at external customer meetings and internal meetings with other company functions necessary to perform duties and aid business development.
- 11. Attend training and to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.

Experience:
- A proven track record of sales growth and customer development.
- Worked with or within the Power Transmission or related industry.
- Relevant in territory applications knowledge. Metals industry, Cement
- Industry, Mining, Escalators, Engine manufacturers, etc.
- Has successfully worked for an International company importing
- product into the sales territory and is familiar with the process.
- Accustomed to working from a home office.
