TERRITORY SALES REPRESENTATIVE
5-plus years of solid sales experience?
Industrial or construction or equipment sales background?

Reporting to the National VP, this working role will consist of Territory Management for Alberta, Saskatchewan and possibly a portion into Manitoba. Your specific responsibilities will include the following:
Key Accountabilities:
- Ensuring sales growth for assigned territory, targeting customers for sales leads, developing and increasing end user customer base.
- Working closely with the Regional Company sales teams to bring additional exposure of company products.
- Performing onsite equipment demonstrations, do on-site trouble-shooting of equipment as required.
- Maintaining regular/as-needed contact with existing accounts.
- Cultivating dealer" relationships with supply distributors and equipment companies in the territory.
- Communicating regularly with branch's inside sales team, establishing and maintaining good communications with inside sales staff.
- Providing back-up in branch during vacation or peak times as required.
- Liaison with regional companies and the branches in the territory.
- Participating in regional sales meetings.
- Monitoring any consigned equipment on a monthly basis.
- Assisting DSM on preparation and implementation of the annual budget plan, providing input to the DSM in the targeting of geographic areas where we can expand our presence, suggesting new product lines and services.
- Providing monthly business/activity reviews with DSM.
- Representing the company at trade shows as required.
Qualifications:
- 5 plus years sales experience.
- Post-secondary education.
- Decision Making – Ability to make critical decisions while following company procedures.
- Problem Solving – Ability to find a solution for, or to deal proactively with work-related problems.
- Relationship Building – Ability to effectively build relationships with customers and co-workers.
- Must be able to recognize customer's equipment needs and suggest a process solution that will work for them.
- Flexibility to work with different personalities, ability to defuse an irate customer.
- Good communication skills,proven customer service skill and organizational skills.
- Ability to travel up to 30-50%.
