Test Analyst

A leading Insurance client now requires a Test Analyst to be responsible for planning and execution on a major compliance programme. The Protecting Customer Card Data programme will deliver a number of controls and systems to ensure that the company is PCI (Payment Card Industry) compliant by 2015. The Test analyst will be responsible for coordinating and executing testing across multiple applications (across a number of sites) with particular focus on the integration of telephony into core business systems. The ideal candidate will have the following skills:

-Candidate must be confident and a self starter with the ability to work off their own initiative. Strong analytical, organisational and communication skills.
-Excellent planning and co-ordination skills.
-At least 4 years experience of working in structured Test/QA roles, including:
-Experience of testing in a structured Waterfall model.
-Recent Hands-on testing experience.
-Experience of testing technically complex projects, with an understanding of backend infrastructure.
-White and Black box testing techniques.
-ISEB/ISTQB Foundation in Software Testing.
-Must be able to manage the entire defect lifecycle.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills/Experience:
*Mainframe testing experience alongside client/server and web.
*Computer/Telephony integration projects
*Quality Assurance of testing in a COTS/SAAS environment
*Experience of Non-functional Testing tools and techniques
*Experience of VOIP testing
