About our Client

Our client is an Australian based superannuation management company. They are currently looking for a test analyst to join their technology group.

Job Description

The successful Test Analyst will be part of the Testing and Quality Assurance Team developing and executing test strategies for software development. It is a hands-on role, working closely with the Senior Test Analyst and business teams to deliver quality projects in a timely manner. Some of the key duties of the Test Analyst will include:

• Liaise with business SMEs and other IT teams to ensure that test plans are correct and with appropriate coverage
• Analysis and preparation of test data and test scripts
• Perform test execution, ensuring timely completion of testing, and relevant and accurate test results are captured
• Produce test progress reports and expedient defect management
• Clear and regular communication with stakeholders, PM, TM and relevant IT team members regarding issues, decisions and actions that arise during the course of testing activities
• Adherence to testing disciplines, standards methodology
• The Technology Department is undergoing a transformation in process and methodology.
• There will be a requirement to work with evolving systems and processes on various projects to incorporate the changing landscape

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will have up to 1-4 years experience in manual systems and acceptance testing and a degree in IT.

• Experienced in the Finance and Superannuation sector is preferable.
• You will have knowledge of the SDLC, including system testing, integration testing, user acceptance testing and load/performance testing.
• Candidate will present attention to detail with excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as, an analytical mind, time management skills and organizational skills.
