Test Analyst - Milton Keynes
I am currently working with a business technology solutions provider who are looking for a Test Analyst.
You will be responsible for (among other things):
- Understanding and writing test scripts for the Front office.
- Work with technical tools for automated testing.
- Troubleshoot all issues testing related with both test teams and clients of the company.
- Take requirements for enhancements to a current system and subsequently translate these into detailed test scripts.
- Execute these mentioned test scripts.
- Test new releases with developers and BA's.
The successful candidate will have the following background:
- A minimum of 3 years in the Testing area.
- A full ISEB qualification or currently undergoing studies for this.
- Extensive experience with automated testing, test automation frameworks and writing test automation scripts.
- Experience in testing web applications as well as a knowledge of XML messages and HTML.
- Previous experience using SQL, particularly to interrogate databases.
- Experience using issue management systems.
It would also be beneficial to have any of the following skills:
- Knowledge/Experience in QuickTestPro (QTP).
- Knowledge/Experience in JMeter.
- Knowledge/Experience with SOAPUI.
- Knowledge/Experience in JIRA.
