We are currently seeking a Test and Validation Engineer. The role will involve leading the test, verification and validation activity on an active project for a major automotive OEM.
The position is `hands on` and the individual appointed will be able to demonstrate a mixed skill set sufficient to be able to design and produce simple test jigs and fixtures and test electronic assemblies at board level. They will organise, co-ordinate and perform test activity and accurately record results and complete documentation.
Although part of the project team the appointee will be expected to contribute without the need for close supervision. Previous experience of a similar role in the automotive sector would be an advantage. Whilst it is anticipated the successful candidate will have a relevant qualification at a higher level specific training will be provided as appropriate.
This role will be present for 18 months, and contract will be considered. It will initially be based in Surrey, but the successful candidate must be prepared and able to travel, and flexible with regards to working hours.
