Responsibilities
The Test and Vendor Manager leads the team of resource managers and test managers responsible to assign test support resources to initiatives under the Consumer and Business Banking channel. The Test and Vendor Manager also manages our relationship with Infosys or any other contingent workforce sources required to fulfill test support.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Lead a large team contributing test support for servicing systems aligned under the Consumer and Business Banking channel. Provide administrative leadership for test support team members, Infosys and contingent workforce resources. Provide point of escalation for project managers, technical teams and business partners for challenges arising with the test deliverables and associated test support risks. Mentors team members and contingent workforce.
Provide a thorough understanding of the Consumer and Business Banking servicing applications and business functions. Enable alternative approaches to the test needs of complex initiatives under demanding time constraints. The manager is responsible to deliver continuous improvements to the test support process and to define quality metrics associated with effectiveness and efficiency of the test process.
Capable of developing test estimations, supporting the development of strong business cases, and identifying the impacts of change requests to project budget or timeline. Manage a team ranging in size from twenty-five to over one hundred resources. Organize work schedules to ensure accurate delivery to estimates for time and cost.
Serve as vendor manager for our primary tester support source, Infosys, and for relationship with our contingent workforce division. Drive improvements in the efficiency and effectiveness of the vendor relationships. Seek to maximize productivity of all vendor contributions. Develop clear monitoring reports with the vendors that track quality as well as quality of the vendors’ contributions. Demonstrate effectiveness of vendor support through routine dashboard reports to senior management.
Qualifications
The Test and Vendor Manager will have the following qualifications:
Minimum 5 years experience in vendor management inclusive of offshore component
Minimum 5 years experience with test management
Minimum 5 years Consumer Finance or Retail Banking
Minimum 1 year of experience with Project or Program management
Strong vendor relationship skills
Strong contract negotiation skills
Strong business network relationships
This position will oversee test support for the Consumer and Business Banking servicing support team. As such, demonstrated experience in the following applications will be a strong benefit to any applicant:
Advanced Loan System (ALS) or equivalent loan servicing system
IMPACS (IM) or equivalent deposit servicing system
Online Collections (KO) or equivalent collections servicing system

Hours per Week: 40
Work Schedule: Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM
