Due to our international growth, we are looking for Test Automation Continuous Integration Engineer to join OLX Global Development Team (based in Lisbon) to integrate international projects. Our websites serve over 200 million unique users per month in more than 40 countries around the globe.
As a Test Engineer you will combine software development, quality assurance, and build management expertise to create a continuous delivery pipeline for our products that builds quality into our software and processes. We are looking for a creative engineer and technology enthusiast with strong experience in the area of software quality and test automation.
Some of your responsibilities will be:
- Creating and maintaining shared tests
- Implementing continuous integration test environments
- Help automating and implementing tests on different levels (unit, integration, functional)
- Providing and implementing tools to manage code quality
- Generating and analysing test reports and communicate results to engineering teams
- Help with the training of our development engineering teams to build quality into the process
- Working as part of our cross-functional engineering teams
- Collaborating and aligning with test engineers from our teams around the world
Main requirements
- At least 3 years of experience as software engineer with focus on testing
- Experience with PHP and Test-Driven Development
- Know-how with continuous integration and delivery pipelines
- Experience with Linux
- Expert in automated web application testing
- Experience with selenium grid and Docker would be a plus
- Experience with test automation for native apps a plus
- Knowledge of agile development practices (XP, Kanban, Scrum)
- Passion for beautiful, test-driven code and an eye for simplicity and pragmatism

- Be a very good communicator
- Have great verbal and written English skills
