For one of our financial clients Huxley is looking for an experienced Testcoordinator/aanalyst.

Tasks:

* Provide initiation, definition, delivery and closure of testing plans to agreed timescales, cost and quality.
* Manage a team of business testers and / or allocated business resource.
* Responsible for managing the business testing service for one or more projects, across one or more programmes.
* Likely to be working directly for a Programme Manager or Senior Change Manager or Senior Test Manager with limited supervision.
* Provide effective stakeholder management, liaising with a diverse range of business and technology functions.
* Provide the projects and / or programme with necessary test expertise and responsible for the integrity and consistency of testing required in all stages of the project lifecycle, following formal governance processes.
* Identify interdependent projects and ensure these are clearly understood and managed.
* Represent Testing at appropriate governance forums providing specialist knowledge and support

Activities:

* Making a Test Strategy review
* Create and review estimates
* Deliver and review weekly updates
* Review of existing regression test set.
* Ensure traceability of test cases to requirements
* Ensure committed projects are carried out as per agreed timelines.
* Effective tracking and follow up of project related test issues.
* Monitor quality of test team's deliverables to ensure completion criteria are met.
* Test planning: Provide 3 months forecast on budget and resources incl Holiday
* Be on top of contract extensions of people in team
* Manage other projects upon request.
* Act as backup for other Test Managers
* Constantly looking for further improvements/enhancements.
* Provide weekly agenda with highlights with line manager.
* Regular update Regional Test Manager on issues, concerns, changes and risks.

Experience

* 5 years experience in the field of testing as Senior Test Analyst or Test Coordinator
* Experience in Banking
* Experience with Managing Offshore teams
* Detailed practical experience of test stage design, planning and execution, this to include User Acceptance Testing.
* Proven experience of managing business testing through a full project lifecycle.
* Proven experience of managing and delivering large-scale (6 months duration) complex projects and / or programmes to time, cost and quality with limited supervision
* Up to date knowledge of industry testing methods and techniques.
* Functional knowledge of Business Operations and related Technology.
* Experience of a range of project types and business areas.
* Detailed practical experience of the use of tools for test management and test automation.
* Appreciation of all levels of testing, and an understanding experience of strategic testing principles.
* Experience of resource and financial planning and reporting.
* Must have: the ISTQB Certification
