40 HOURS EXPECTED WEEKLY - 8:00AM-4:30PM
Volt Technical Resources has a long-term position available in Vancouver, WA for a Test Engineer.
Position Description:
Specifically, Our Client is seeking a Test Engineer to start ASAP testing and evaluating Peripheral Firmware. Interactions with Engineers from various disciplines will be frequent.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Document, develop, support and test Embedded Software for Our Client's programs in accordance with Firmware milestones.
- Work closely with and understand:
- Digital and Analog Electrical components.
- Mechanical components.
- Interactions with the host software/systems.
This is an estimated 6-12 month contingent / temporary position through Volt Technical Resources, located in Portland, Oregon. Requirements:
Required Skills for this Test Engineer position include the following:
- AS Degree in Computer Science and/or two (2) years of equivalent Programming experience
- Practical experience writing code in C/C++ Programming language
- Skill and experience with VB Scripting, Python, Ruby, Perl, Shell Scripting
- Experience with Embedded Systems Development
