Test Engineer


Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Test Engineer - Network Security on a 1 yr contract opportunity with a leading company in Roseville, CA.
Position Title: Test Engineer II (Position in Roseville Ca.)

Shift: Day Shift, Monday - Friday

Length: 1 yr contract
Position Description:

  • Develop test strategies and test planning for printer security functionality.

  • Execute test strategies to develop a full spectrum of test coverage including manual, automated and exploratory test suites.

  • Work closely with test automation/tools developers to provide reporting and test execution metrics.

    • Minimum Requirements:

  • Strong testing skills and experience

  • Software test writing and planning experience

  • Test automation experience

  • Understanding of Network configurations and protocols

  • Understanding of Network Security

  • Experience with multiple PC operating systems

  • Knowledge of LaserJet products

  • Excellent problem-solving skills

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to work alone and in a team environment

    • Desired:

  • Knowledge of VB scripting

  • Knowledge of Object-oriented programming

  • Knowledge of C#

  • Experience with HP Multi-Function Printers

  • Experience with Quality Center test management system
