PRIMARY JOB FUNCTION:
Represents functional area on project teams developing engineering designs, processes or software. Develops engineering test methods, and performs engineering tests in support of design qualification.
CORE JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for compliance with applicable Corporate and Divisional Policies and procedures.
• Design products, software and/or processes.
• Identifies issues and communicates status to peers and manager.
• Develops test approach and methods, writes and performs test protocols, and writes reports.
• Generates and ensures approval of engineering documentation of design output.
• Responsible performing assignments in accordance with AMO standards.
POSITION ACCOUNTABILITY / SCOPE:
Works as a team member representing functional area. Works with limited supervision. Reports to a more senior engineer or manager. Works collaboratively with other departments in support of project plans. May work on projects involving more than one engineering discipline. May lead small project teams.
• 2+ years experience
• Skilled in utilizing computer design tools (as applicable)
• Ability to use standard engineering, development and test equipment (as applicable)
• Demonstrated verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work in a team environment
Preferred Qualifications:
• Formal verification and validation experience with Medical Devices
• Experience with FDA regulations such as CFR820, 13485, IEC60601 or 62304
• Requirements Management tools experience in DOORS, JIRA, or MKS
