Test Engineer
Amtec Human Capital is seeking an experienced Test Engineer for our client located in Walnut, CA for Factory Demonstration Testing of Southern California Edison substation equipment. This position will be responsible for testing protection panels including functional testing and factory acceptance testing. The applicant must be familiar with testing equipment using Doble Protest software, Doble AC injection test set, and HMI/PLC Testing.
The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in programming as well as the ability to develop and implement standard engineering practices, and provide detailed documentation upon project completion. This person may be the project technical lead and may be responsible for some project management activities. A BS in Electrical, or Computer Engineering is required. A minimum of 5 years experience in a similar position is required.

GE Multilin UR Family Products
- D60 Line Distance Relay
- F35 Multiple Feeder Management Relay
- T60 Transformer Management relay
Schwetzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) Products;
- SEL-311L Line Current Differential Relay
- SEL 421
Candidate must be proficient in the following tasks:
- Competent in Protection and Automation logic experience with troubleshooting capability
- Knowledge in Concept 2.6 software for Modicon Momentum and Quantum PLC troubleshooting
- Start-up and commissioning of complex control systems
