Test Engineer - Winston-Salem, NC
Our client is looking for a Test Engineer for a Contract Opportunity working with both hardware and software. Client prefers Manual Testing. The ideal candidate will have tested software, devices and software with the devices.
As a Test Engineer, you will review and discuss specifications, estimate preparation and execution time, identify hardware requirements, identify test environment limitations, and identify any code or programs needed to test software. In addition, you will identify test tools and testing strategy, develop test cases and hold test case reviews, verify hardware/software installations, write test code or programs. Test Engineers work closely with Software Engineers and Program Managers.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor's or Associate's Degree in a computer-related field, 2 years experience testing software, an ability to write/develop test cases, test plans, and test scripts, excellent written/verbal communication skills and analytical skills. The ability to work independently and a strong work ethic are crucial. Aptitude to learn and understand data communications packets and tools required to analyze them.
Occassional travel to customer sites may be required
