Kelly Services is currently in need of a Test Engineer interested in working in the automotive industry with an OEM that is full of momentum. TEST ENGINEER (POWERTRAIN) Bay City MI ENGINEERING DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develops the means for subjective evaluation of vehicle systems or components under test Analyzes data to ensure that correct conclusions are reached Develop major hardware proposals to carry out test activities Direct a team of test engineers and technicians on specific programs Coordinate the acquisition and deployment of engineering tools and human resources for major test or development programs Originate unique approaches to solution of experimental investigations Integrate sophisticated measurement systems with test hardware Partner with others outside the work group ENGINEERING REQUIRED SKILLS/EXPERIENCE : 10 years experience in Engineering 7 years experience in automotive industry 7 years with all aspects of experimental test techniques, including analytical, physical 7 years subjective evaluation of components under investigation 7 years using computer-aided data gathering systems 7 years Originate complete program definitions for assigned investigations Areas of expertise include: Testing, Design, Analysis Thorough understanding of relationship of design, build, and test cycles in organization Intermediate Knowledge in MS Word, MS Excel, MS PowerPoint and email communication tool (i.e., Yahoo, Lotus Notes) Strong interpersonal skills (ability to work effectively cross-functionally and cross-culturally), written and oral communication skills, and teamwork skills Ability to work well with others, multitask, mentor others and meet deadlines Displays attributes of a critical thinker and leverages innovative ideas, identify issues and problems, generate solutions and choose appropriate alternatives using root cause analysis where problems are more complex REQUIRED ENGINEERING EDUCATION Bachelor of Science in Engineering Required Conditions: All candidates will successfully complete the required Drug Testing and Background Checks.
