Test Engineering Lead
- Responsible for building tooling to automate testing of Hydra, the strategic end-of-day risk management system for Equities, including interfaces to up- / down-stream systems
- Also responsible for delivering automated repeatable build deployment tools for all environments (including prod)
- This person will work hand-in-hand with the "Product Engineering" leads - aligned to build out specific parts of the platform’s functionality
- Expectation is that this person would be managing a team that is almost exclusively offshore
- Depending on seniority, may also have "philosophical ownership" across the broader GED Test Engineering space
Requirements
• Proven ability to implement and manage a structured software development lifecycle across a globally-distributed team
• Creative thinker who can devise approaches to automate testing and software development lifecycle
• Technical leadership, capable of influencing other technologists on best practices, processes and tools
• Strong functional analysis skills, with experience of front-to-back trade lifecycle processes
• Experience building software applications rapidly to support evolving business areas
• Strong Java design and development skills
