Test Manager- Asset Management – London recruitment
The responsibilities will include:
- Enforce the overall testing policy, the supporting processes and procedures, and the use of appropriate testing techniques, methodologies tools.
- Work with project managers and/or change leads to ensure that:
- test approaches and plans are fully defined and signed off
- test scenarios and test scripts are delivered to the required standard and are signed off
- appropriate MI is produced against test results and test execution timetables
- reports are produced for each test phase and that they contain the required information to assess if the entry and exit criteria for each test phase have been met
- Maintain oversight of unit and systems testing results from the development team, both on and off shore.
- Identify and maintain reusable test approaches, scenarios and scripts that can be utilised for future changes.
This is a demanding and critical position dedicated to the delivery of quality service and systems. You will be a motivated self starter who's attention to detail and ability to take a wider view of all deliverables.
Essential experience will include:
- Extensive experience in Test Management gained in the asset management domain.
- Advance level certification in Test Management to International Software Testing Qualifications Board (ISTQB) standards.
- Very good understanding of testing techniques, testing techniques, methodologies tools.
- Experience of working with outsource service providers, ideally in both business and technology.
- SQL and other Database Management tools
Given the wide exposure of this role the candidate will be an excellent communicator, with strong stakeholder management skills, be pragmatic and diplomatic through out.
