Test Manager -Credit/Market Risk recruitment
Responsibilities:
Test Requirement analysis, capture and documentation
Test Requirement’ management through the project lifecycle to realisation of business benefits
Defining and/or managing all Test phases of the project lifecycle
Defining and getting agreement on Test Strategy, Test Plans and approach depending on project needs
Facilitating preparation of test cases/scripts, data and expected results
Reviewing test strategies and plans for other testing phases
Ensuring testing is carried out to agreed processes and standards
Providing leadership guidance to those undertaking testing
Identifying, analysing, and responding to project risks
Managing changes to project scope
Managing defect process
Communicating status to management
Skills required:
Understanding of some/all of the following - Market Risk, Credit Risk, Basel and VaR
Understanding of Front-to-Back processes
Analysis skills:
Evidence of understanding the business drivers of projects
Evidence of understanding the business requirements at a detailed level
Demonstrable experience of (test) requirements’ management
Demonstrable experience of managing business requirements’ transformation into (test) requirements for IT systems
Evidence of clear, concise and structured approach to documentation, especially test strategies, plans and results
Experience in writing UAT plans to target data validation, functionality and business process
People Skills:
Proven experience of effective direct interaction with investment banking end users
Ability to communicate and present both business concepts to a technical audience and IT concepts to a business audience
Proven ability to understand differing points of view of a range of stakeholders
Proven ability to negotiate and influence others
Software Development Life Cycle Skills:
Requirements’ management processes
Complete SDLC and testing know-how documentation
Proven ability to implement test approaches for complex solutions
Experience of taking ownership for delivery of a number of test phases
Experience of a structured approach to communication on a project
Defect/issue tracking reporting processes
