Test Manager Job in Surrey, Home Counties UK

Role:

Due to an exciting period of extensive growth, this successful Global FTSE 250 business are looking to recruit the skills of a Test Manager to manage the resource which lead the Testing of Global Software Applications.

Duties and Responsibilities:

· Lead on Global Software Applications Testing.

· Heavily focused on both the Quality and the Delivery of the Testing / QA function of the business.

· Responsible for the execution of Methodology.

· Installing and communicating best practices.

· The mentoring of the Test resources within the business (this currently stands at 10 but again, with plans to grow in the different business streams).

· Manage the Testing / QA resources for the business.

· Be aware of Software Release Deadlines, impacts, risks and the issues associated with those.

· Be aware of all execution activity and be on top on that

· Have the ability to identify issue before the arise

· Have the awareness of knowing exactly where you and your team are with the release process

Experience:

· Previous experience of running a Test Team (5-10 people as a minimum)

· Experience of matrix management

· Heavily focused on quality of testing

· Able to both work and communicate with people at all levels within a Global organization

· Strong analytic and decision making skills

· The ability to work closely with others and as part of a team

· Have Gravitas with the peers, team members and senior business stake holders.
