Test Manager, Kuwait recruitment
This is an enterprise wide role to manage the User Acceptance Testing on behalf of all the Businesses. The ideal candidate has to manage the software test function and quality assurance of a wide spectrum of business applications, including custom-developed, packaged and web-based applications to ensure the integrity and usability of software.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate all activities and all testers during each testing phase or release.
- Utilize testing knowledge and experience to assess the practicality of testing process alternatives.
- Manage all risks associated with the testing and take preventative action when any risk becomes unacceptable.
- Take responsibility for all phases of testing and the management of the testing activities within a development project.
- Overlook meetings with stakeholders during test planning and throughout subsequent development and testing activities.
Requirements:
- Bachelor of Computer Science / IT.
- Banking/ Financial industry experience in testing in the GCC.
- ISEB/ISTQB Software Testing certification (Foundation, Practitioner, preferably Test management) Project management certification.
- Familiarity with SQL/Oracle database and application development platforms such as Oracle, JAVA, XML, HTML, C++, Delphi etc UNIX, NT and internet and network concepts and technologies.
