Test Operator 3 Job in Corvallis, Oregon Us

Lionbridge is seeking to fill several Flex Operator III positions for a client's proto final assembly line in Corvallis, OR. Successful candidates will have experience working in a production environment meeting robust delivery schedules and daily quantity goals.

Position Description:
The following duties are general descriptives of the work the successful candidate would be tasked with on a daily basis. Selected candidates may have other duties assigned by either the Technical Supervisor or Lead in the area assigned. *We have multiple positions available for this role for both day and swing shift.

* Manually assemble parts per specification
* Perform operation of semi-automated equipment to assemble parts per specification
* Cleaning of product parts to specification
* Visually inspect and mechanically test materials according to specification or instruction and escalate deviations as documented.
* Clearly understand and execute to written instructions.
* Ensure utilization of specified materials and versions as described.
* Disassemble defective parts for client development team analysis or rework
* Collect and report data using specific spreadsheets or databases per schedule.
* Regularly review process documentation and ask appropriate questions to resolve concerns.
* Work in a semi-clean room environment.
* Follow protocol for contamination control (e.g. gowning)
* Follow material handling storage protocol to minimize particle contamination
* May require overtime per day or on weekends.
* Work as part of team to meet daily and monthly build schedule goals established by client.
* Contribute ideas for process improvements to appropriate team members (e.g. tool layout, material handling simplification, etc)

Skills/Responsibilities:
* Demonstrated experience working in a RD production environment
* Experience in product assembly
* Attention to detail and ability to follow instructions
* Ability to adjust settings and operate semi-automated tools
* Capable of manually assembling products to specifications
* Ability to work with ambiguity and change in development environment
* Awareness of and adherence to change management processes.
* Using judgment on low risk decisions asking for guidance with high risk decisions, escalate with urgency
* Data entry of information and data to forms and spreadsheets
* Communication of observations and daily output as required in both verbal and written forms.
* General mathematics skills
* Focus on quality and quality improvement, taking interest in product output goals and quality
* Flexibility to meet changes in build plans
* Ability to provide training of assistance to new employees as requested.
* Ability to clearly communicate changes and observations (written and verbal)
* Ability to take feedback and actively improve work performance.
