The Role
There is a large program of work with multiple projects currently being undertaken at this organization. Among them are the combination of back office systems across multiple banking products. Working with the testing team, BAs, developers, and the business, you will be responsible for driving the testing team to ensure successful combination of these systems. This project is the backbone of an entire area of the bank.
The position requires the incumbent to have a broad range of IT skills and be capable of working in an environment that requires flexibility, problem solving, delegation and strong interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities Include:
- Writing / Modifying Test Strategies
- Planning, Budgeting, Forecasting
- Resource Allocation / Capacity Shifting / Prioritization of Resources and Team Members
- Understanding the Business Side of the Project(s)
- Stakeholder Management - internal and external - across IT and the Business
- Management of all Testing - System, Integration, UAT, Load/Performance, Disaster Recovery, Migration, Regression.
Mandatory Requirements:
- Demonstrated Retail Banking Experience
- Demonstrated knowledge across loans (all types), deposits (all types), and customer accounts.
- Demonstrated Five (5) Years Test Management Experience
- Strong Testing Skills and Experience
- Temenos Globus / T24 Core Banking System Knowledge and Experience
- QTP and Quality Centre Experience
Non technical skills required include:
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Self sufficient, highly motivated, resourceful individual
- Be a problem owner and solver with a logical approach to solving issues
