Test Technician- CDL Driver
Primary Function: Support our Commercial Vehicle Brake testing operations in East Liberty Ohio.
Core responsibilities:
?Build instrument and ballast test vehicles per directions provided by Manager or Engineer
?Perform testing in a safe, controlled manner according to established safety standards
?Follow vehicle test procedures as provided by Manager or Engineer
?Collect data and report errors/anomalies as they occur
?Ensure utilized test devices are calibrated and functioning properly prior to use
?Handle special tests and developmental tests as directed by Manager or Engineer
?Provide assistance in development and implementation of new test methods and procedures
?Understand Link Commercial Vehicle Testing test instrumentation and data collection techniques
?Conduct basic equipment setup diagnostics and troubleshooting
?Operate data acquisition equipment and analysis software
?Order tools and supplies as necessary
?Maintain a clean and organized work area
Minimum Requirements:
?High school diploma or equivalent
?Current Commercial Drivers License (CDL) and satisfactory driving record
?3 years CDL driving related experience
?Excellent organizational and time-management skills
?Proficient in Microsoft Excel
?Proficient in computer processing
?Good oral and written communication skills
?Basic math, reading and writing skills
?Able to work overtime, as required
Physical Requirements:
?Able to lift heavy objects of 50lbs or greater
Must have own set of mechanic hand tools appropriate for automotive or heavy truck related work (sockets, wrenches, screwdrivers, etc.).
