Adecco Engineering and Technical, a division of the world leader in the recruitment of engineering and information technology professionals, has an immediate opening for an Test Technician with a leading company in Ithaca, NY.
Purpose and Scope:
The Test Technician is responsible for processing wafers and components for
experimental, model and production requirements.
Responsibilities:
Manufacture opto-electronic components in a clean room environment using test, singulation,
and chip handling tools common to the microelectronics industry.
Use microscopes for Visual Inspection.
Soldering and assembly of Opto-electronic components.
Responsible for complying with quality systems procedures.
Operation of programmable equipment - singulation and die sort machines.
Education and Training:
High School diploma required - Associate Technical degree preferred.
Technical Requirements:
The Technician is required to complete a supervised training program as well as read and
understand any pertinent training or departmental procedure manuals.
