Test Technician
Responsibilities: The technician will perform evaluations and develop a strong understanding of dishwasher appliance test operations and lab procedures. Assignments will include sample pre-test confirmation and test setups and teardowns to assist other technicians. Additionally, this position will help in the Wash Performance Lab, preparing dishes with food soils in advance of performance testing, to exacting standards, and clean up of graded dishes and equipment when testing is complete. In this position, you'll gather knowledge through test work, applying that information to analyze problems for root cause. The person is responsible for maintaining a strong communication link to the supervisor, coworkers, and related departments. In this position, you'll have the opportunity to: Perform approval testing including safety tests on dishwashers and components Perform reliability life test evaluations on products and components with minimal supervision Perform competitive product evaluations Handle multiple projects concurrently Record and compile data, maintain accurate records, prepare technical reports and verbally communicate results Plan order of own assignments with requesters to meet schedules and communicate expectations Assist other personnel as necessary and do whatever is needed to get the job done.
