The Client
This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a small, vibrant and innovative company specialising in the development of generator technology for application within various renewable energy sectors. They are currently developing a prototype with the aim of taking the technology into commercialisation.
The Test and Validation Engineer will be expected to take responsibility for testing of the company's electrical machines. In the first instance this will focus on developing rotating electrical generator technology from its current advanced prototype level to a technology that is marketable and ready for volume manufacture.
The successful candidate will have a relevant technical degree (Electrical or Mechanical) with experience of design/testing in an electrical engineering environment. Additionally, a good understanding of testing standards for rotating machines is required.
