Testing Manager recruitment

Responsibilities

Developer and maintain the master test plan for the testing of all CB e-traded and internal new and amend product release, to ensure successful testing of projects in line with business priorities and strategy
Testing requirements for each project are fully understood, considered, reviewed and planned in line with business priorities, liaising with both internal and external parties to ensure delivery
To work with both internal and external parties to ensure delivery in line with business requirements, with conflicts being raised immediately within the appropriate forum
Contribute to group profitability through management of the Testing team budget
Key contact for the business and project managers with regard to the testing approach for each project
Ensure that detailed test plans, test cases and scenarios are in place and executed for the testing of each SWH release as well as any internal system release
Liaise with the business and relevant external parties on defects in order to resolve and complete testing
Be responsible for completion of a lessons learnt exercise at the end of each project to identify improvements/efficiencies for future testing

The Individual

Business:

Good knowledge of commercial insurance and products, good understanding of e-trading platforms and software houses

Technical:

Strong test background, ISEB practitioner certificate preferred, proven test management record with good understanding of testing tools – knowledge of automated testing tools would be preferred
