Testing Manager recruitment
Responsibilities
- Developer and maintain the master test plan for the testing of all CB e-traded and internal new and amend product release, to ensure successful testing of projects in line with business priorities and strategy
- Testing requirements for each project are fully understood, considered, reviewed and planned in line with business priorities, liaising with both internal and external parties to ensure delivery
- To work with both internal and external parties to ensure delivery in line with business requirements, with conflicts being raised immediately within the appropriate forum
- Contribute to group profitability through management of the Testing team budget
- Key contact for the business and project managers with regard to the testing approach for each project
- Ensure that detailed test plans, test cases and scenarios are in place and executed for the testing of each SWH release as well as any internal system release
- Liaise with the business and relevant external parties on defects in order to resolve and complete testing
- Be responsible for completion of a lessons learnt exercise at the end of each project to identify improvements/efficiencies for future testing
The Individual
Business:
- Good knowledge of commercial insurance and products, good understanding of e-trading platforms and software houses
Technical:
- Strong test background, ISEB practitioner certificate preferred, proven test management record with good understanding of testing tools – knowledge of automated testing tools would be preferred
