Testing Manager – Transfer Agency Projects recruitment
The role involves initiating, scoping, planning and managing the Testing Strategy and co-ordinated test plans for the platform upgrade and migrations.
Citi was recently successful in acquiring a significant new book of business, which will migrate onto the Citi Transfer Agency core processing application and surround technology.
The role will work within a virtual programme team of multiple project managers, reporting within the Business Transformations structure in Funds Services Operations.
The individual appointed will take up a key role in driving the overall Testing Strategy for the Programme of work which looks to upgrade the existing TA platform. The role will cut across the User Acceptance Testing phase and Model Office Testing and Migration testing both within Citi and jointly with the Client.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop detailed Test Strategy for the Programme of work including Platform upgrade and implementation of the new Operating Model
- Develop an understanding of Citi's EMEA Transfer Agency strategy and Operating Model, in order to ensure that the testing strategy is delivered in line with and to enhance our operating processes and service offering
- Create a detailed internal and joint testing plan across all phases of the Programme both with internal stakeholders and with the Client
- Co-ordinate implementation of the test planning, preparation and execution with Citi test teams in EMEA and India directly with off-shore testing teams;
- Maintain compliance with Citi's Global UAT Testing Methodology
- Identify resourcing requirements and follow established procedures for the securing of resources
- Co-ordinate with project resources to deliver to the testing plan
- Act as key point of contact for the Client for all matters arising related to the Testing Strategy and detailed Test plan
- Communicate effectively with internal technology partners or external technology vendors in order to manage the co-ordinated testing plan
- Manage the coordinated Defect Management process with Technology partners ensuring that all defects are reported, analysed and escalated where necessary
- Provide daily and weekly status reports at all stages of testing utilising Citi testing tools and standards
- Suggest areas for improvement in internal processes along with possible solutions

Skills
Knowledge/Experience:
Essential:
- Strong background understanding of the System Development Lifecycle
- Experience of managing large scale systems implementation or Migration projects
- Hands on experience of dealing with both external software vendors and end user group management
Preferable:
- Experience in the Transfer Agency business
- In depth knowledge of at least one market standard Transfer Agency platform
- Formal project management training / qualification
