THEATRE NURSES

I am currently recruiting Theatre Nurses to work through Hays in hospitals in and around Lincoln. I am looking for scrub nurses, nurses with anesthetics experience and recovery nurses as well as Operation Department Practitioners.

Working through Hays Healthcare as a Theatre Nurse or ODP, you will be required to adapt to new theatre departments quickly and to function effectively as a member of the peri-operative team to ensure the provision and development of an efficient and high quality surgical service. You will need to deliver a holistic care package which is current, evidence based and effective.
It is important that you have a broad knowledge and skill base including communication and team working skills, in order that you contribute to the smooth running of the theatre department. I am looking for nurses who are Self-motivated, can use their own initiative and make difficult decisions; whilst working under pressure, dealing with often challenging situations and employing their highly developed interpersonal skills in conjunction with effective time management and delegation abilities to respond appropriately to the fast-paced environment of a hospital theatre department.

To be considered for this position you must be able to demonstrate the following:

· Recent UK NHS theatre experience working as an ODP/ Theatre Nurse
· Current NMC registration
· Eligibility to work in the UK
